Festival of New American Music
The task here was to design branding and related materials for the Festival of New American Music, an event dedicated to showcasing lesser-known artists with a focus on classical music. In line with this, I had aimed for a tone that simultaneously felt like it captured the high-class nature of classical music while also having a feeling of being welcoming and friendly to ease the fears of anyone that may see it as too uptight. This meant working in two conflicting ideals, and designing a set of items in line with it including a motion graphic.Â
